Manushi was born into a Haryanvi family from Jhajjar, Haryana, India. As per wiki, she celebrates her birthday on June 14 and was born in 1996, which makes her age 23 this year. Chillar belongs to a Haryanvi family in Jhajjar, Haryana. Her father Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar is a scientist at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). And her mother, Neelam Chillar is an associate professor and departmental head of Neurochemistry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences.
She has a younger sister Dewangana Chiller, who is pursuing LLB and a younger brother Dalmitra Chiller. Once a time In an interview, She said “Her infinite love, passion, courage, and determination to achieve her goals always keeps me going. Her gentle heart right now bold personality inspires me to be compassionate and ambitious.”

Chillar always had a deep passion for modeling and fashion industry. While she was in college and school, she participated in several modeling competitions and beauty contests. In 2016, she started her journey in pageantry with Fbb Campus Princess 2016, where she became the finalists and crowned as one of the finalists from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in December 2016. Manushi appeared as a participant in Femina Miss India 2017, where she represented the state of Haryana. In the same competition, Chhillar was also crowned Miss Photogenic.
On 18 November 2017, Manushi became the 54th winner of the Miss World 2017 competition and crowned by Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico.
Apart from being a model, she is an ambitious gynecologist and cardiac surgeon. Moreover, she was associated with a Purpose project was Project Shakti, which spread awareness about menstrual hygiene. During this project, she visited about 20 villages for the project and treated over 5,000 women.
In 2020, The beautiful lady will try her luck in the Indian film industry with a historical period drama film Prithviraj under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. In this film, Manushi will be seen in the lead along with Bollywood famous actor Akshay Kumar. Before entering the film industry, she featured a commercial advertisement along with Ranveer Singh.
